How To Prepare For Your Spray Tanning Session
Before you head down to see us, here’s a few tips you should follow to ensure that you get an even, beautiful tan.
1. Make sure you shave or wax before your appointment.
A day or two before is recommended to ensure your skin has settled and to avoid the speckle effect.
2. Be sure to exfoliate and moisturise your skin the day before your appointment.
Removing dry skin and previous spraytan will ensure you get an even result and a longer lasting tan. Moisturising in the days leading up to your
appointment is important for deep hydration.
3. Come to your appointment deodorant and moisturiser free.
Some ingredients in these products can interfere with the tan. This could cause your spray tan to look streaky and blotchy.
4. Bring loose dark clothing and jandals to wear after your appointment.
Tight clothing and footwear will cause friction and cause your tan to rub off before it has time to develop.
5. While the tan is developing, avoid contact with water, heavy exercise and perspiration.
6. After your tan has developed avoid scrubbing in the shower or shaving and be sure to moisturise everyday.
